Arthritis  “Live Pain Free” Program
Rheumatic diseases  (arthritis) are characterized by inflammation (redness and/or heat, swelling, stiffness, and pain) and loss of function of one or more connecting or supporting structures of the body. Accurate diagnosis and precise treatment directed to each patient’s  form of arthritis are essential to customizing a therapeutic treatment plan.  Learn more about Optimum Health Medical Center’s  “Live Pain Free” program  which incorporates  a multi-specialty approach comprised of nutritional support, exercise, relaxation, massage therapy, as well as medication management.

Diabetes Prevention &Control
Diabetes is a serious illness that affects many parts of an individual’s  body, including  heart, eyes, feet, and kidneys. At Optimum Health Medical  Center, Dr. Siamak Rouzroch works closely with Dr. Fariba Bardi to help patients learn how to successfully manage their diabetes through combinations of diet and exercise and medication. They provide a complete diabetic assessment including a medical and blood work-up, nutrition counseling, and education.

Fibromyalgia (FMS)
Fibromyalgia syndrome (FMS) is a widespread musculoskeletal pain and fatigue disorder for which the cause is unknown. Most patients report that they “ache all over” their bodies. Symptoms may vary, but the impact on daily-living activities can be quite disabling.  The Medical Center offers specialty care with a focus on minimizing pain and discomfort for patients suffering with fibromyalgia

Hypertension (High Blood Pressure)
Hypertension is known as the “silent killer.” In fact, about one in every four American adults has high blood pressure, a major risk factor for stroke and heart and kidney disease.  At Optimum Health Medical Center hypertension is closely monitored with medication, and patients learn how  to control high blood pressure through some basic lifestyle strategies. This comprehensive program includes diet, exercise, dietary supplements, stress reduction, and monitoring of high blood pressure medication.

Men’s Health & Wellness
Men live, on the average, about 7 less years than women do in the United States. This is due in part because women see their doctors more often than men. The Men’s Health Program focuses on reaching out to men to increase their awareness of early diagnosis and treatment  for the leading causes of disease and death in men.  Specific areas of interest include cancer, heart disease, bladder, prostate and rectal cancer, kidney problems, ulcers and stress-related conditions. Referrals to a preferred panel of specialists are arranged by Dr. Rouzroch.

Traveler’s Clinic
If you are planning to leave the country, consultation, evaluation and immunizations are offered.  Schedule your appointments about four weeks ahead of your scheduled travel when possible.

Weight Loss Center
Achieving and maintaining a healthy body weight  reduces the many  harmful health effects of being overweight.  Many patients who are suffering with metabolic syndrome (hypertension and diabetes) can live a healthier life and end their dependence on medication by  incorporating long-term changes in  eating and physical activity habits  that result in losing weight and maintaining a healthy body weight. Dr. Fariba Bardi directs the healthy weight loss and wellness programs.  Learn more about BIA!
